During Heritage Weekend, we saw people from many walks of life showing their unique traditions, demonstrating that South Africa has a varied spectrum of cultures. They include Zulu, Sotho, Venda, Sepedi, Ndebele, Tsonga, Xhosa, and many others. Despite the traditional dress, most people consider Zulu culture to be one of the most attractive in South Africa, and Zulu women are similarly beautiful.
The Zulu people account for almost 40% of South Africa’s total population. They are known for preserving and valuing their culture after so many years. Even in recent times, they are still preserving it.
Take a look at some of the Zulu women’s photos to see why they are the most attractive.
Depending on their stage of life, Zulu women dress in a number of ways. Engaged ladies hide their breasts and grow their hair, whereas single young females keep their hair short and wear only a short grass-reed skirt with beads.
To show that she has been spoken for, a married woman covers her entire body. Her skirt is constructed of rough cowhide softened with animal fat and charcoal. To cover their bosoms, women used to wear cotton vests or beaded bras with beaded necklaces, but now they wear cotton vests or beaded bras with beaded necklaces.
