Cosmetic procedures have become increasingly popular in the Western world, but many celebrities still cling to time-honoured beauty secrets and wellness hacks that yield impressive results without the need for surgical enhancements.

From Victoria Beckham’s morning rituals to Zendaya’s makeup mastery, these unconventional beauty methodologies are being shared, offering fans accessible ways to achieve that coveted glow.

Fashion designer and beauty enthusiast, Victoria Beckham.

Victoria Beckham

Former Spice Girl turned fashion mogul, Victoria Beckham, recently shared her wellness hack through her Instagram Stories, showcasing her morning routine, which includes a couple of spoons of apple cider vinegar on an empty stomach.

This simple yet effective method is a part of a broader wellness regime that she shares with her football legend husband, David Beckham.

Together, they whip up nutrient-packed green smoothies filled with ingredients like spinach, broccoli, celery, cucumber, avocado, apple, lemon and ginger, ensuring that the family gets their daily dose of antioxidants and dietary fiber.

When it comes to skincare, Beckham swears by dermaplaning, a technique recommended by her facialist, Melanie Grant.

This process involves delicately running a blade over the face to remove dead skin cells and fine hair.

Not only does dermaplaning enhance skin smoothness, but it also promotes cell renewal and boosts collagen production.

In her daily make-up routine, she opts for a cell-rejuvenating priming moisturiser instead of foundation, fostering a glow without the heaviness.

A simple blush cream stick and highlighter, with the use of her fingertips for blending, complete her radiant look.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas shared her favourite home remedies from her wellness routine in an interview with “Vogue” magazine.

For Priyanka Chopra Jonas, flawless skin is achieved through an age-old concoction known as ubtan.

This DIY mask, comprising yogurt and other natural ingredients, works as both a scrub and a nourishing facial treatment.

Chopra Jonas advises mixing equal parts of yoghurt and oatmeal with turmeric, a natural antiseptic, before applying it and washing it off after half an hour.

The actress, who often gives her fans a glimpse into her lifestyle through social media, also revealed other wellness tips.

In an interview with “Vogue” magazine, Chopra Jonas revealed how most of her tried-and-tested home remedies are recommended to her by her mother and grandmother.

The actress sparked curiosity the minute she posted a video of rubbing raw garlic on her feet, back in June 2024.

She uses this hack to soothe inflammation: “Cuts and bruises are part of the gig, so I love these kinds of age-old solutions along with medical ones. I’ve gotten so many over the years, especially from my mum and grandmum,” she said.

For a DIY immunity boost, she shared that a glass of warm water with ginger, turmeric, lemon and honey does the trick.

Each of these ingredients have anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antioxidant properties, which contribute to healthy skin, gut and overall well-being.

For her skin, her mother, Dr Madhu Chopra, a cosmetic and aesthetic dermatology expert, has made rice water and coconut oil masks to help shrink pores and tighten the skin. “I put that on before I go to bed,” Chopra Jonas revealed.

If tummy troubles ever strike her, her go-to solution is water mixed with powdered fennel, coriander and cumin seeds.

This easy-to-make Ayurvedic detox concoction is known to stimulate digestive fire and relieve gas almost instantly.

Actress Zendaya embraces a playful twist on sun-kissed beauty.

Instead of soaking up the sun, she cleverly applies blush to the bridge of her nose to capture that beachy glow.

This hack not only enhances the facial warmth but can be balanced out with additional blush on the apples of the cheeks, resulting in a naturally sun-drenched appearance.

Rihanna

The multifaceted singer and beauty mogul recently revealed her secret to achieving perfect red lips: using matching products.

In a tutorial video, she meticulously sculpts her lips with a creamy red lip liner before applying the lipstick of the same hue, ensuring a seamless and voluminous finish.

Salma Hayek

Another radiant beauty, Salma Hayek, has an unconventional morning routine that she credits to her grandmother.

Rather than splashing her face with water, she uses rose water to gently refresh her skin before applying moisturiser, proving that sometimes the simplest routines are the most effective.

Kate Moss

Supermodel Kate Moss employs an age-defying technique that involves using chilled rollers on her face to combat puffiness and tighten skin.

The cold contractions have a magical effect, shrinking blood vessels and reducing swelling, particularly around the tired eye area. Carrying a jade roller in her handbag, Moss remains ready to refine her look at any moment.

Cindy Crawford.

To keep her skin hydrated and refreshed throughout the day, Cindy Crawford has mentioned that she sprays her face with a mixture of milk and water.

This unusual hack is inspired by the idea that milk contains lactic acid, which can gently exfoliate and brighten the skin, while water provides instant hydration.

It’s one of many beauty secrets the brunette bombshell swears by for maintaining a glowing, youthful complexion. This mixture, however, is not recommended for acne-prone skin.

Blake Lively

Actress Blake Lively protects her gorgeous locks by not using conditioner.

The blonde beauty told “Vogue” that she relies on two shampoos – one dedicated to hydration and the other to strengthening, as well as a hair mask that she keeps in for 30 seconds. She swaps the duo each time she shampoos.
