South African reality TV star Gary King is back home, exploring the beauty of Mzansi with his mother.
Known for his role on “Below Deck”, King is an avid traveller who sails to various destinations around the globe.
Currently, he is enjoying a much-needed break from life at sea.
Gary and his mother have embarked on a memorable road trip from Johannesburg to Knysna, his hometown.
They started their journey at the beginning of November and have been documenting their daily adventures on his Instagram page.
Although the drive typically takes 14 hours, Gary has decided to stretch the journey over several days to fully appreciate the sights along the way.

As of now, they are on day four of their adventure, according to his latest travel vlog.
Their first stop was in Harrismith in the Free State.
They also explored Phuthaditjhaba and the stunning Golden Gate Highlands National Park.
The mother and son duo also visited Clarens, taking a restful night in this charming small town.
On the following day, King and his mother ventured into Lesotho, where they marvelled at the breathtaking landscapes.
“This country, with all its rivers and waterfalls, is absolutely amazing. Driving around Lesotho is truly breathtaking,” he shared.

After leaving Lesotho and re-entering South Africa, the duo continued their journey along the Lake Gariep Route, known for its endless roads and stunning views.
King joined “Below Deck Sailing Yacht” in season 2 as the first mate, bringing with him 12 years of yachting experience.
His career has taken him from South Africa to Europe and beyond, showcasing his expertise in the yachting industry.
However, despite his Playboy reputation, King’s involvement in a sexual misconduct allegation has cast a shadow over his tenure on the show.
“Below Deck” is a popular reality TV series that follows the lives of crew members working on a luxury superyacht during charter season.
The show documents both the professional challenges of navigating life at sea and the interpersonal drama that arises from living and working in close quarters.
Fans are eagerly hoping for a season 6 and a continuation of the series, which concluded with season 5.
