Eyes are glued on Miss South Africa ahead of the grand finale, every announcement the organisation drops has the critics coming out to play.
Miss South Africa has entered a new era, one that has come with several changes; new ownership, co-chairs, designers and judges.
The 2025 judging panel that embodies authentic leadership and impact and consists of former titleholders Dr. Tamryn Green Nxumalo, Ndavi Nokeri, Cindy Mahlangu, Heidi Giokos, and Thebe Ikalafeng.
“This year’s judges are committed to identifying a young leader who embodies courage, purpose, and a passion for transformation,” shared the orgnasation.
Meet the Judges
Dr. Tamryn Green Nxumalo: A medical doctor, health advocate, and influencer who understands the importance of authenticity and genuine love for people in making a meaningful impact.
Dr Green-Nxumalo is a former Ms South Africa ( 2018) and first runner up for Ms Universe.
Ndavi Nokeri: An investment professional, youth advocate, and changemaker who recognizes the value of fearless leadership and resilience in driving social impact. Ms Nokeri is Ms South Africa 2022.
Cindy Mahlangu: An actress, model, and influencer who believes in the power of true confidence and self-belief.
Heidi Giokos: An award-winning broadcast journalist who brings an authoritative voice and a compassionate perspective to the panel.
Thebe Ikalafeng: A brand strategist who has helped shift global perceptions of African brands and believes in the importance of authentic storytelling and representation.

While all the chosen members of the judging panel are worthy and have accolades that make them deserving of a seat at the table.But change is hitting South Africans hard and the critics have plenty to say.
Previous judges include Lerato Kganyago, Rolene Strauss, Jo-Ann Strauss and Thembi Seete, Devi Sankaree Govender, Thuli Madonsela, and Thando Thabethe.
