Just when you think you’ve seen it all, Kim Kardashian delivers another head-scratcher that sends the internet into a frenzy.
This past weekend, at the 5th Annual Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles, our favourite reality TV mogul decided to play a little game of peek-a-boo… by covering her entire face. Yep, that’s right, her entire face!
The mother-of-four stepped onto the red carpet in a stunning custom nude-toned strapless corseted gown with elegant draped sleeves from the Maison Margiela Fall 2025 Couture collection.
While she would usually be glammed up to the max, she opted to complete the gorgeous look with a matching nude-coloured mask that enveloped her entire face and hair.

The only visible “skin” was through the sheer fabric held in place by an ornate, tiered silver choker with dazzling green gems.
Apparently, she was honouring Maison Margiela’s original runway vision, which also featured the full face covering.
And hey, we appreciate a fashionista committed to the designer’s intent, even if it means leaving us all wondering if she had a secret smile or maybe a yawn behind that mask.
Kim fans will know that it’s not the first time she’s made such a dramatic faceless entrance.
Remember the iconic head-to-toe black Balenciaga ensemble at the 2021 Met Gala? Even then, she had her face covered, leaving all of us wondering how she could even see through it.
Having a little fun with the behind-the-scenes moment, she posted a hilarious clip on social media, getting “final touch-ups” on her face mask from her glam squad.
“Mario, do I look OK? The makeup?” she innocently and hilariously asked her makeup artist, Mario Dedivanoic.
His joking reply? “Your make-up looks amazing, yes.” Kim’s comeback? “It’s good? All that hard work, guys. I feel like I always do this to Mario, though.”
We can practically hear the collective eye-roll and chuckle from her loyal fans.
Even hairstylist Chris Appleton joined the fun, sharing a reel captioned “FML” along with a crying emoji, poking fun at the “invisible” makeup.

Now, if you thought a face-covered gala appearance was the peak of Kim’s viral moment, you must have missed her latest Skims underwear launch.
Last week, she set the internet on fire, and sold out a product in record time with her latest Skims underwear creation: a G-string featuring what looks like, well, pubic hair.
Dubbed “the ultimate bush,” this daring piece comes in 12 different colours.

While some were shocked, others were clearly loving it and couldn’t wait to get their hands on the controversial panties.
The woman knows just how to remain in the limelight. In the span of a week, she went from selling “the ultimate bush” to becoming the ultimate mystery woman.
What will Kim do next? Your guess is as good as ours, but one thing’s for sure, it’s most probably going to be something way out there.
