A TikTok user has touched the hearts of many by revealing the lengths her family has gone to in order to bring a smile back to their grandfather’s face after the loss of their grandmother.

Molly Gracie (@mollyygracie) took to the social media platform to reveal how they have used travel to help their grandfather cope with the grief of losing his wife.

In a video titled “Things We Have Done to Make Grandad Smile Since Grandma Died,” Gracie shared the various activities they have organised to bring joy back into his life.

Gracie and her grandfather take a flight to South Africa.

Having recently turned 90, their grandfather has been treated to memorable experiences, including playing darts at his favourite pub, flying to South Africa, visiting Table Mountain and going on a safari.

Gracie explained that South Africa is where her grandmother’s sister and the rest of the family live, making the trip particularly special.

In addition to these adventures, they also threw him a birthday party, reunited him with his late wife’s sister, and made countless visits to her gravesite.

“He deserves the world,” Gracie expressed.

The touching video has garnered over 792.9K views on TikTok, prompting heartfelt responses from netizens.
