The Mommy Club’s Ratile Mabitsela Wishes Her Son a Happy 10th Birthday

Entrepreneur and reality TV star Ratile Mabitsela, known for her role on The Mommy Club on Showmax, is celebrating a special milestone — her son’s 10th birthday. The proud mom shared adorable photos of her little boy and poured out her heart in a touching message dedicated to him.

Ratile wrote, “Happy 10th Birthday, my lil King! I can’t believe my little boy is turning 10 today! You’ve grown into such a smart, kind, and creative young man — Mama’s future scientist, my soccer star, my gamer with the biggest heart.

Watching you grow has been the greatest blessing of my life. You make me so proud every single day – not just for what you do, but for who you are. You’re thoughtful, funny, strong, and wise beyond your years.

May this new chapter bring you endless adventures, joy, and confidence to dream even bigger. Always remember: you are deeply loved, chosen, and destined for greatness. Love you always Sonshine!”

Her post touched many of her followers, who admired and also wished her son a happy birthday. Ratile has often shared glimpses of her motherhood journey online, showing the joyful and happy moments that come with raising her children.

Just last month, the Showmax star reflected on her personal growth and healing as she remembered her late husband, Elias Lehlogonolo Mabitsela, who passed away earlier this year. On Heritage Day, she shared an emotional post about grief and how she continues to honour his memory.

She wrote, “Probably at the peak of my grief, I look back on this day with mixed emotions. Heritage Day once held a deeper meaning for me because I was married to a man who embraced his Black and Pedi roots with pride. For me, it symbolized earth, unity, and union.

On today’s #HealingInMotion, I acknowledge the loss of what I once believed would last forever. Part of me wants to celebrate this day and have a braai, but instead, I find myself better off journaling and working.

I haven’t even thought about what to do with my trio today — my heart feels as dull and heavy as the weather outside. Holding on to the good memories, while taking it a day at a time.”
