A Durban woman was killed in an apparent domestic dispute in the early hours of Saturday morning.
According to ALS Paramedics, they responded to numerous calls for medical assistance in Finfoot Road, Woodlands, Yellowwood Park, south of Durban.
“Paramedics arrived on the scene to find SAPS already in attendance and were escorted into the house where they found a horrific site,” said spokesperson Garrith Jamieson.
“It is alleged that a domestic dispute occurred, and a female in her late forties had been stabbed multiple times, leaving her fatally injured.”
Jamieson said paramedics found a male, also in his forties, with multiple stab wounds to his body.
“He was in a serious condition, and Advanced Life Support Paramedics worked to stabilize him on scene before he was transported under police guard to a nearby Hospital for further care that he required.”
He said the exact circumstances leading up to the stabbing are unknown; however, SAPS will be investigating further.
