TV host, actress, and executive producer Minnie Dlamini has taken a walk down memory lane as she celebrated her long-standing relationship with True Love magazine. She shared a heartfelt post on Instagram, looking back at her very first cover shoot with the magazine, which took place in New York City back in 2014.
Sharing photos from that special shoot, Minnie wrote: “My first @truelovemagazine cover shot in New York 2014. I had my dear friend & celebrity hairstylist @ursulastephen who at the time was responsible for Rihanna’s iconic pixie era and many iconic looks since, and makeup artist to the stars @luckysmyler who pushed me that whole shoot to go for the shot and kill it!!! How could I not mention celebrity stylist and designer @stevenkinlock who still keeps me on my toes and insists I have @mr.kinlock piece in my closet constantly.”
She added, “This is where my love affair with @truelovemagazine began. I came up with the crazy idea to shoot our cover in New York, made some calls and together we created magic. Six iconic covers later, we still keep pushing the boundaries.”
Minnie’s journey with the magazine didn’t stop there. In April 2025, she graced the cover once again, this time showing a new side of herself. In the latest April–June issue, she embraces what she calls her “anti-bride era” and taps into her dark feminine energy. The feature describes her as “a bold and brave woman, who is setting her own rules,” and dives into both her personal life and her career growth.
Despite her many years in the spotlight and a long list of achievements, Minnie says she still feels thankful for every opportunity. “My career has never been, and will never be, defined by my relationship status. I was Minnie before marriage, and I will be Minnie long after my divorce,” she boldly said.
