Ladybrand man (27) brutally beats up his mother to death for making too much noise in her bedroom shack

A 27-year-old man from Manyatseng, near Ladybrand in the Free State, is in police custody following the alleged murder of his 51-year-old biological mother. He is expected to appear before the Ladybrand Magistrate Court on Thursday, 3 July 2025, to face a charge of murder.
