Actress and beauty entrepreneur Amanda du-Pont is proudly celebrating a big moment for her skincare brand, Lelive. Earlier in May, Lelive was internationally recognised as one of the top emerging beauty brands in the world. Amanda was announced as one of 13 finalists in The Business of Beauty Global Awards 2025 and ranked 2nd in the Emerging Track category.
Taking to her social media, Amanda shared her excitement with her followers. She wrote, “Exciting news! We’ve been nominated for a @businessofbeauty global award as one of the top finalists in the emerging track category + thank you to our community for backing skincare made for all of us, by us.”
The Business of Beauty Global Awards were created to celebrate beauty founders around the world who are changing the industry with fresh ideas and innovative brands. This year, over 100 beauty entrepreneurs from 17 countries and five continents applied for the awards. The competition had two categories: the Emerging Track for brands making under $2 million a year, and the Breakthrough Track for those earning up to $10 million annually.
Amanda made the finalist list in the Emerging Track, which focuses on promising young brands with strong growth and potential. The recognition shines a light on her commitment to creating skincare that blends African ingredients with modern science.
The Business of Beauty team praised Amanda’s vision and work, stating: “Lelive. Founder: Amanda du-Pont, South Africa. Lelive skincare was founded by Swazi-born Amanda du-Pont to showcase the quality and innovation of Africa to the world. After rapid growth in South Africa, the brand has launched in the UK, with features in Elle and British Vogue. Lelive blends the highest-quality African botanics with cutting-edge scientific actives for healthy, glowing skin.”
