“The Day We Stop Believing in Love Is the Day We Stop Dreaming” – Lebo M Gets Engaged Again in Dubai

Renowned Lion King producer Lebo M is giving love another chance. The multi-award-winning composer has proposed once again — this time to his longtime, on-and-off partner Malefu “Mel” Ntsala. The romantic proposal took place in Dubai on Friday in a private, intimate setting.

The couple, who’ve had a complicated relationship over the years, seem happier than ever. Lebo M shared beautiful photos from their time in Dubai on social media, showing the two of them smiling, laughing, and clearly in love. Along with the photos, he shared a touching message:

“The day we stop believing in love and possibilities, is the day we stop dreaming. Absolutely grateful to have fulfilled my dream & begin this new chapter with you. Love always. @mel_ntsala”

This engagement marks another chapter in Lebo M’s journey with love. The celebrated music producer — who is behind some of the world’s most iconic music from The Lion King — has been married four times and engaged several times more. This will be his fifth marriage.

In a statement shared exclusively with TshisaLIVE, Lebo M opened up about how his view of love has changed over time. “The pursuit of love, happiness, and comfort is a lifelong journey,” he said. “I’m humbled by my dance with love through the years, and grateful for the strength to never give up on it.”

He also spoke about choosing love with purpose in today’s world. “In a world filled with trials and tribulations we face — and gender-based violence being one of the most painful — I’m proud to stand for love with purpose. At my age, I choose commitment over ‘boyfriend culture’ and celebrate the courage it takes to truly love and be loved.”

The engagement has sparked excitement among fans and fellow celebrities, with many sending their congratulations to the couple. TV presenter Minnie Dlamini commented, “Congratulations! To the top with love!” while media personality Savita Mbuli added, “LOVE: The greatest gift of all. Congratulations you two.”

While the couple is keeping their wedding plans private for now, their joyful moment has inspired many who still believe in love, no matter how many times it takes.
