After part one of The Mommy Club Season 3 reunion aired, reality TV star Kabelo Jantjies—known as Mrs J—took to Instagram to share her frustration with the show’s production team. In a lengthy post, she accused them of leaving out important parts of her journey, especially scenes involving her children.
According to The Citizen, Mrs J claimed that not a single moment with her children made it onto the show, even though she filmed many scenes with them. “Week in, week out, we all had hopes that the scene with my children would play, but it did not. No explanation, nothing. I really feel like my children were discriminated against from day one until the very last,” she wrote.
Her disappointment didn’t end there. She also revealed that her children were not invited to attend the reunion, which hurt her deeply. She hinted that she did not finish filming the second part of the reunion, which is scheduled to air on Saturday, May 24.
“As a mother, my number one role is to always and forever protect my kids, hence I couldn’t finish the reunion. I was not going to sit there when my child was not invited without any solid reason or explanation,” she said. “How do you explain to the child why they are not invited? But anyway, as unkind as it is, we move on. Hope you all enjoy part two of the reunion.”
Before the reunion was filmed, Mrs J had expressed her hope to clear the air with the other cast members. She wanted to use the reunion to speak out about the comments made behind her back. “I would like to use the reunion as an opportunity to address what needs to be addressed fully. I couldn’t believe some of the comments made behind my back. As mothers, I hope we can iron out our differences and see if there’s a way forward,” she said.
At the reunion, Mrs J didn’t hold back. She confronted the ladies—especially Mrs Sande—who had mocked her ancestral gift. After the episode aired, Mrs J made her Instagram account private, shutting out the public while she deals with the drama.
