Two Foreigners caught with Stuff worth over R20 000 in Limpopo. See what they were selling

Foreigners seem to be one of the major topics In South Africa these days, as they keep operating within their criminal ways, as they are always stealing cables, smuggling cigarettes and also selling fake goods to the people.

However the latest reports indicate that it has ended in tears for 3 foreign nationals in dennilton, and Marble hall, as the police were raiding foreign owned shops. The reports says that two Indians were caught selling counterfeit goods which is a serious offence to the South African law.   

Counterfeit consumer goods are goods, often of inferior quality, made or sold under another brand name without the brand owner’s authorization. And also those caught selling counterfeit stuff can pay up to a fine of R 5 000.00 per item or 3 years imprisonment.

However on the reports, 3 alleged Indians were arrested yesterday named Fekele Oold Anulo (21), Ayolo Waje (31) and Muhammad Ali (29) for selling counterfeit yeast, which is vAlued to be over R20 000 by the authorities. However the yeast didn’t come from one shop, as the reports states that 5 shops were raided.

This happened after Hawks received intelligence about shops that were selling counterfeit goods in the Sekhukhune area and operationalized it. A sting operation consisting of the Hawks’ Serious Commercial Crime Investigation Intellectual Property Rights, (TRT) and the brand representative ; Adams and Adams was conducted on 21 and 22 September 2022 respectively.
