South African Hip Hop rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, known professionally as AKA has reacted to reports of him been a suspect in the death of his girlfriend, Nelli.

Recall the rapper’s former girlfriend, Anele ‘Nelli’ Tembe allegedly committed suicide by jumping off from the 11th floor at the five-star Pepperclub Hotel in central Cape Town couple of weeks ago.
The rapper couple of weeks ago also announced that he was taking some time off from social media as he mourns his lover and returned just a couple of days ago by posting a photo of himself on his official Instagram page.
Today, the rapper has responded to news reports that the police is investigating him in the role he played in the death of his former girlfriend.
In a statement released and posted on his various social media platforms, the rapper has debunked the allegations stating he is just a cooperate witness in the investigations rather than ‘been named as a suspect’ as its been circulated in the media circles.
AKA also revealed that he is aware of the people who are ‘feeding’ the media with such reports and using it as a weapon to set a negative narrative on his character as they are the very people Anele and himself loved and entrusted with their deepest troubles.
He added that he owns up to his past and present traumas and that he has submitted himself to a psychological and spiritual counseling and suggest everyone who is still affected by the death of his former girlfriend to do the same.
