Gospel star Loyiso Bala’s wife Jennifer took to her Instagram account to share with her fans the progress of her pregnancy as the world celebrates all women across the globe today.
The wife of the gospel star also shared her thoughts on Gender-based violence which is very prevalent in South Africa.
Taking to her Instagram account Jennifer wrote:
“The theme for this year’s International Women’s Day is “Choose to Challenge” (#ChooseToChallenge). This is not only a day for women, but for every person to challenge the oppression of women as well as structural inequities.
This is particularly pertinent in South Africa, with levels of violence against women and the girl child at unacceptable levels. Regrettably, this is a global phenomenon.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) estimates that 30% of women have experienced some form of intimate partner physical or sexual violence in their lifetime.”
Musician Loyiso Bala and his wife Jennifer announced in January that they were expecting their third child. Jennifer recently took to her Instagram account to share the ultra scan of her pregnancy, to give their fans an update, revealing that they are 21 weeks into the pregnancy period.
Taking to her Instagram account, Mrs. Bala wrote: “A beautiful reminder of truly what a miracle growing a tiny human really is.”
