Amapiano DJ duo DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small dogged a hail of bullets after a hit was ordered against them in an assassination attempt.
The DJ duo were nearly killed according to Sundays World on the 8th of February 2021. According to reports, two men fired at the DJ’s Mercedez Benz tour bus on Monday in East Rand leaving many injured with two artists in critical condition.
The publication revealed that policemen confirmed the incident and said the suspected gunmen were driving an Audi A4. Describing the incident, the police said the car opened fire at the bus from the back and then went on to shoot at it from the front, then sped off.
Maphorisa has refused to comment on the incident and has gone into hiding with the fear of losing his precious life. The duo though has opened a case at the Katlehong police station.
The news has got many fans wondering why someone wants to get rid of the duo with some suggesting that it involves a woman with who the two are believed to be partying occasionally.
