Last month Mandla Mandela reportedly converted to Islam and wed his forth Muslim wife Rabia Clarke in a private ceremony in Cape Town which led to controversy within the traditional leader circles of Mvezo now the wife has now been welcomed by the elders into the royal family.
On Sunday the new Mrs Mandela was welcomed in the AbaThembu community in Mvezo Komkhulu by members of the community‚ traditional leaders‚ elders‚ family and friends. She will be now known as Nkosikazi Nosekeni Rabia Mandela.
Nosekeni is the name of former President Nelson Mandela’s mother, she received the name from the Royal House of Mandela.
