Former Orlando Pirates striker Kermit Erasmus who recently moved to French Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais FC has penned a touching thank you letter to his former club and fans.
In an Instagram post, Erasmus wrote, “Never give up on your #Dreams work hard and have patience.” He thanked his fans for believing in him and supporting him during his stay at the club.
He also thanked his former team mates, coach and the technical team for sticking with each other through the ups and downs.
To the Chairman of the club, Erasmus had this to say, “I would like to thank the Chairman for giving me a chance to play for his team, for keep believing in me, for guiding me and for giving me this opportunity to chase my dreams in #Europe Will never forget and will carry #OrlandoPirates forever in my heart.”
The striker says he’s excited for his new journey and will do his best to be the best.
