The Tomorrow Children, a PlayStation 4 exclusive game released in 2016 and deactivated in 2017, will get a new version by Q-Games. The game was online and had construction and economic elements, set in a Soviet dystopia.
At the time of release, the title was also part of Sony’s late Japan Studio, but now Q-Games has acquired the intellectual property rights to the game. For Dylan Cuthbert, co-founder of the studio, this is “a dream come true”.
In a statement, the developer thanks the game’s fans for their support for the past four years and also thanks Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) for assistance with the re-release. “I’m now tweaking and reworking parts of the game every week and I hope everyone will follow along and get involved in this process. We plan to make some changes for the better and give The Tomorrow Children the relaunch it deserves!” Cuthbert said in the newsletter.
