US National Football League player Damar Hamlin is “beginning to awaken”, his doctors said on Thursday.
Hamlin is still on a ventilator in the intensive care unit at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center to assist his breathing.
But he has now been communicating with doctors by writing after waking up.
