A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital with facial injuries following an assault in south Belfast on Sunday morning.
The police said the incident happened on Carmel Street at 11:45 GMT.
Officers have appealed for witnesses to come forward with information about the assault.
The suspect has been described as being around 5ft 11 (1.8m) in height and was wearing a brown coloured flat cap, a navy top with grey sleeves, blue jeans.
