A number of homes have been evacuated after a report of a suspicious object in Londonderry.
The police are in attendance at the security alert in the Richhill Park area of Derry’s Waterside.
Members of the public are asked to avoid the area, particularly near Crescent Link where traffic disruption is expected.
The police said further updates will be provided in due course.
