Xiaomi, Realme, Motorola and others have already announced flagships for 2022. Seeking not to be left behind, Oppo is preparing the Find X5 generation, which initially should have two tops of the line. Although some specifications have already been leaked, new certifications in China indicate that the launch is close – and end up reinforcing the presence of some components.
It is believed that the codes CPH2307 and CPH2305 refer, respectively, to the Oppo Find X5 and Find X5 Pro. Regarding the former, the new information reveals the presence of a 50 MP main sensor, with optical image stabilization support. . With an aperture of f/1.8 and a focal length of 24.6 mm, the images generated must be “compressed” to 12.6 MP thanks to the quad bayer technology to improve the lighting of the photos.
About the selfie sensor, there would be a 32 MP camera to generate 8.1 MP images. The stabilization would be electronic only, with an aperture of f/2.4. No information has yet been revealed for the other rear sensors. Oppo should employ macro, ultrawide, or depth lenses on the Find X5.

Snapdragon 8 and Dimension 9000
The Oppo Find X5 Pro, in turn, should repeat the 50 MP resolution, but improving the aperture to f/1.7 with a Sony IMX766 sensor. There are details on additional lenses, with a 50MP ultrawide and 13MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom.
In addition to the lenses, both must have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 — and the Find X5 can win a version with Dimensity 9000. The battery would be 5,000 mAh, with advanced fast charging of 80 W.
On the screen, it has become typical for the entry-level model of a flagship to have a panel with less premium features than its more advanced version. Thus, Oppo should offer 6.7 inches of display on both, but LTPO 2.0 and Quad HD resolution only on the Find X5 Pro. The Find X5 should have Full HD resolution with an unspecified but hardly adaptive refresh rate.
Rumors suggest that the officialization should take place between February and March.
