Stone resumes talent program with no limit on vacancies or prerequisites –

THE startup Stone has opened applications for the 15th edition of Recruit Stone, its talent selection program. According to the company, there is no limit on vacancies and there are no prerequisites required in the curriculum. Interest is in candidates of different profiles. Applications are open until March 10 and can be done through this website.

According to the company, Recruta Stone aims to train new entrepreneurs. Candidates will be evaluated on competencies such as energy and intelligence and on personal values such as integrity, demonstrated even in their life stories. Stone will consider the candidates’ potential to add value to the group’s companies in the long term.

The selection lasts about a month and a half, with interviews and tests related to professional and personal experiences. In the initial selection phase, the company says it uses machine learning and artificial intelligence. He says that the method generates a blind and unbiased evaluation. In practice, this approach, widely used on platforms like Gupy and Kenoby, is often disliked by many candidates.

“The selection uses technology to facilitate decision making, but is focused on the human being, treating each candidate as unique and bringing feedbacks that we believe add value to the lives of candidates”, defends Lívia Kuga, partner and leader at Stone.

Recruit Stone usually attracts more than 100,000 candidates a year — in the last two editions, more than 130,000 participated, more than 800 candidates were selected and four were hired. Started in 2014, the project has already evaluated more than 3,500 talents and obtained more than 50 Recruits. Candidates who overcome the first stages gain a trail with classes on self-knowledge, personal marketing and how to perform well in interviews and group dynamics.

Stone acquires companies

At the end of 2020, Stone bought Linx, a retail management software company, for BRL 6.7 billion. Last month, the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade) approved the acquisition of 50% of ReclameAqui by Stone. If CADE’s Tribunal does not highlight the concentration act for analysis or if there is no appeal by an interested third party within 15 days, the transaction is definitively approved.
