fans of the saga Star Trek will be more than given away in the coming weeks at Paramount+. The streaming platform announced the arrival of several productions in the universe, including films, series and animations.
Among the series that will be released to subscribers is Star Trek: Discovery, with new episodes of the fourth season, which premieres on February 11. On the same day, it will be possible to check Star Trek: Prodigy, which debuts its first season.
Throughout the year, the series also debuts Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, which features characters from Discovery and focuses on the life of Christopher Pike. The third season of the animation is also scheduled for 2022. Star Trek: Lower Decks, which has already been renewed for a fourth season.

The Paramount+ announcement comes after an imbroglio over where productions from the Star Trek universe would be made available. Alex Kurtzman, executive producer of the franchise, celebrated the unraveling:
“Four years ago, we promised to make Star Trek amazing and thanks to the hard work of our talented showrunners, writers and directors, along with the extraordinary support of CBS Studios and Paramount+, we kept our word. Now our programs are forward-looking as we work to build the next phase of ‘Trek’ programming in the years to come.”
