OnePlus 10 can arrive with Dimensity 9000
Information released by the portal suggests that the OnePlus 10 should bring the new Dimensity 9000, MediaTek’s first chip to invest heavily in the premium segment. The solution promises to face the recently announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, a position that the Chinese giant has not had for some years, and would have as its biggest advantage the lower price, a point that may have encouraged OnePlus to take this decision.
There aren’t many details about the OnePlus 10 yet, but the device may at least share the quirky design with the Pro variant. yogesh it also indicates having received details of only one model in the family, which could mean that the base device is yet to debut with a separate launch strategy. The change would have the intention of repositioning the smartphone, which would assume the position previously occupied by the OnePlus 9R, a model of the previous generation totally focused on cost-effectiveness. Equipped with Cortex-X2, A710 and A510 cores, in addition to the Mali-G710 GPU, the component promises to deliver remarkably advanced processing performance, facing not only the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, but also Apple’s A15 Bionic.
Official figures and analyst tests indicate that MediaTek’s bet on TSMC technologies has paid off, delivering impressive advantages, reaching 40% in energy efficiency. The GPU would be its only weak point, bringing performance closer to last year’s graphics chips, a feature still respectable despite its distance from the competition.
