Samsung returned to distribute the One UI 4, based on Android 12, report owners of the manufacturer’s devices on Monday (27). The update process was interrupted about six days ago due to a problem with Google Play, a component of the new operating system.
Therefore, smartphones from the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Flip 3 and Galaxy S21 lineup around the world should already be in line to receive the corrected build. Anyone who updated their device previously should also receive the new version in the future.
It’s not clear which bugs were caused by the Google platform compatibility issue, but user reports mention frequent crashes and errors in auto-entering recovery mode. According to Samsung, the defect needed to be fixed by Google and only later the solution could be incorporated into the One UI 4.0, however the update description does not detail the flaw in question.
