A preliminary report by a panel of advisors from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) revealed that the drug was effective in treating covid-19 disease.
This Thursday, Denmark approved the experimental antiviral drug molnupiravir, developed by the American laboratory Merck, for the treatment of people at risk infected with covid-19. It is the first country in the European Union (EU), about a month after the European Medicines Agency (EMA) advised its emergency before final authorization.
