‘The Simpsons’ episode about censored Tiananmen Square massacre in Hong Kong –

In the series, the Simpson family travels to China to adopt a baby and decide to visit the place where the massacre took place. In Tiananmen Square, there is a sign that reads: “In this place, in 1989, nothing happened”.

Episode 12 of season 16 of the series ‘The Simpsons’ was taken from the Hong Kong Disney+ streaming platform. At issue is a mention of the Tiananmen Square massacre, in which hundreds of people, mostly students, died while protesting for freedom and democracy in 1989.
