How to create custom iPhone ringtones –

How to create custom ringtones on your iPhone

Select a Garage Band instrument

Download the Garage Band app from your iPhone’s App Store and click to open it. In the “Tracks” tab, at the top center of the screen, scroll sideways until you select which musical instrument you want to create your custom ringtone. When choosing, click on the selected instrument.

Record your custom ringtone

Have fun playing and training with the selected musical instrument. To record your custom ringtone, simply click the red button at the top center of the screen. When finished recording, click on the down arrow icon located at the top left and then on “My Music”.

Export recording as one touch

On the next screen, click and press and click on your recording file, then select to share it. You can choose from three ways to share it: as music, ringtone or project. Select to share your recording and export it as a ringtone.

Set as default iPhone ringtone

Enter a name for your custom ringtone and, after exporting the recording as a ringtone, select the “Use sound as…” option to define and customize your iPhone alert. Change or confirm the default iPhone ringtone

To change the default ringtone or check what sound is currently set on your device, go to Your iPhone Settings, and click “Sound & Touch”. On the next screen, enter “Ringtone” — if you’ve set your ringtone for calls — or “Message Sound” — if you’ve chosen to customize your message alerts.
