The Lagos State Government yesterday restated its commitment to vibrant Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), describing it as vital in reshaping the world’s economies, governments and societies.
Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Science and Technology, Mrs. Olufunmilayo Balogun, who disclosed this at a meeting with Information Communication Technology (ICT) Officers in different Ministries, Departments and Agencies, said technological progress is a driving force behind economic growth and citizen engagement.
According to her, ICT has an important role to play, adding that Public officials, businesses, and citizens can harness the transformative power of ICTs to provide more efficient services, catalyze economic growth, and strengthen social communication.
