Arsenal have announced the signing of Jorginho from London rivals Chelsea.
The Italian midfielder completed his switch from the Blues to the Gunners on deadline day after talks over a deal opened on Monday.
The Premier League leaders moved swiftly to bring in Jorginho after being knocked back in their pursuit of Brighton starlet Moises Caicedo and learning that Mohamed Elneny’s knee injury is serious.
Arsenal have now confirmed that Jorginho has signed on at the Emirates Stadium and will take the number 20 shirt.
Jorginho could make his Arsenal debut on Saturday when they travel to Sean Dyche’s Everton.
