The fifth round draw for the 2022/23 FA Cup draw is about to be made.

We’ve already seen some huge teams eliminated from the competition this season, with Premier League leaders Arsenal the notable high-profile exit in round four.

Liverpool suffered their second defeat at Brighton in three weeks as their miserable season rumbled on, while Chelsea and Newcastle United were eliminated in the third round.

That means at least one team from outside the top flight’s ‘big six’ will reach the semi-finals at Wembley this campaign.

Follow along below for live updates of the draw…

The FA Cup fifth round draw will kick off at 7pm (GMT) on BBC One’s The One Show. We’ll have updates for you as and when the draw takes place.

  1. Tottenham Hotspur
  2. Southampton
  3. Wrexham or Sheffield United
  4. Ipswich Town or Burnley
  5. Manchester United
  6. Luton Town or Grimsby Town
  7. Derby County or West Ham
  8. Stoke City
  9. Blackburn Rovers or Birmingham City
  10. Leicester City
  11. Sheffield Wednesday or Fleetwood Town

Fifth round ties will commence on Wednesday, March 1 – the first time a fifth round has been held in a midweek. This is due to the fixture crunch caused by the mid-season World Cup.

Replays will not take place and games level after 90 minutes will head to extra-time.
