When is the FA Cup fifth round played?
The FA announced at the start of the season that the 2022/23 FA Cup fifth round will commence from March 1, 2023, with the draw taking place on January 30.
The change to a midweek fixture window is required due to a backlog of domestic matches following the 2022 World Cup.
BBC and ITV hold the rights to televise matches in the UK, with the eight games expected to be spread across four days.
Are there replays in the FA Cup fifth round?
The fifth round of the 2022/23 FA Cup does not include replays. It is the first stage of the tournament not carrying the option of a replay for drawn matches.
The FA has come in for criticism over its insistence to keep replays in earlier rounds, with plans in place to remove them in future tournaments.
