Famous actor Hugh Jackman sent Roger Federer a message to honor his illustrious tennis career. “You have left your indelible, unmatched stamp on the sport of tennis. Thank you! Love HJ” Hugh Jackman replied to Federer’s goodbye video.
Federer once made Hugh Jackman climb 15 floors In 2020, after Roger Federer challenged elite tennis players and celebrities around the world, including Hugh Jackman, to show their own home training routines, the actor best known for his famous interpretation of Wolverine filmed himself starting to climb 15 floors of stairs.
“Roger, I loved those trickshots! Unfortunately, we don’t have tennis courts at our place in New York City. But we have something you guys don’t have, which is a lot of these (filming the stairs). 15 floors, baby!” says Hugh Jackman in the video.
After seeing Jackman’s fast response to his challenge, Federer couldn’t help not to bring in discussion the character that brought Hugh a big part of the fame he enjoys now.
“Wolverine is always in beast mode. 15 floors, babeh!” Federer wrote on Instagram.

“To my tennis family and beyond, of all the gifts that tennis has given me over the years, the greatest, without a doubt, has been the people I’ve met along the way: my friends, my competitors, and most of all the fans who give the sport its life.
Today, I want to share some news with all of you,” Federer started his statement. “As many of you know, the past three years have presented me with challenges in the form of injuries and surgeries. I’ve worked hard to return to full competitive form.
But I also know my body’s capacities and limits, and its message to me lately has been clear. I’m 41 years old. I have played more than 1500 matches over 24 years. Tennis has treated me more generously than I ever would have dreamt, and now I must recognize when it is time to end my competitive career.
The Laver Cup next week in London will be my final ATP event. I will play more tennis in the future, of course, but just not in Grand Slams or on the tour.”
