The Junior Ryder Cup, a challenge between the young promises of the Europe team and the US team, will be played from 26 to 28 September 2023 on two different courses: the National Golf of Sutri (Viterbo), the Coverciano del green, will host the first two days competition (doubles, foursome and fourball matches scheduled), while Marco Simone from Guidonia Montecelio (Rome) will host singles matches.
For the first time since 1997 (the year of the first edition of the Junior Ryder Cup), the final day is scheduled on the same field as the Ryder Cup. Where immediately after, from 29 September to 1 October 2023, the 44th edition of the Ryder will be staged.

Junior Ryder Cup, schedule
At the Junior Ryder Cup the teams will each be made up of six boys and as many girls, who must not have turned 18 before Sunday 1 January 2023 and must not be enrolled in the US Colleges next year.
The qualification process, for the youth appointment, as well as the captains of the two teams, will be announced soon. The Junior Ryder Cup was played in the past by champions such as, among others, Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy, now respectively number 1 and 2 in world golf.
The Junior Ryder Cup is a junior team golf competition between Europe and the United States of America. The competition is similar to the Ryder Cup and, like it, is hosted by the PGA of America and Ryder Cup Europe. The teams each consist of six juniors who are between twelve and 18 years old.
The tournament runs over two days. On the first day, three junior pairs and three junior pairs each play a classic foursome and six mixed pairs fourball. On the second day, introduced in 2008, twelve singles will be held. All games will be played as a match game.
A place in the vicinity of the Ryder Cup venue within which the Junior Ryder Cup will be held will be selected as the venue. Among the participants were u. later pros Hunter Mahan, Tony Finau, Jordan Spieth, Lexi Thompson and Jennifer Johnson.
