LET Access, Sara Kouskova won with a 198

Sara Kouskova won with a total of 198 (65 67 66, -12) strokes the Elite Hotels Open, a LET Access tournament that took place in Sweden, in Jonkoping, on the Jonkoping GolfKlubb course (par 70). Second place for the Swiss amateur Vanessa Knecht with 201 (-9), third for the Norwegian Renate Grimstad with 203 (-7).

Good performance for Lucrezia Colombotto Rosso, who finished in the top ten, in 8th position with a score of 210 (69 74 67, par).

Among the other blue in the race, Erika De Martini was placed 21 / a with 213 (69 73 71, +3), Sara Berselli 33 / a with 217 (73 69 75, +7), and the amateur Caterina Tatti 38 / a with 218 (79 69 70, +8).

While she failed to overcome the Martina Flori cut, 70 / a with 152 (77 75, +12). Thanks to this exploit, Sara Kouskova, 23, from Prague, collected her third LET Access title after the Amundi Czech Ladies Challenge (won by amateurs) and the Santander Golf Tour Málaga (won ahead of Virginia Elena Carta).

The Czech thus cashed a check for 6,400 euros on a total prize pool of 40,000. Sára Kousková is a Czech golfer. Her caddy and advisor is the Czech Olympic field hockey referee Jakub Mejzlík, and the head coach is Pavel Nič, jr.

In June 2021, she became the first Czech winner of the tournament of the second highest European professional competition LETAS, which took place in the Konopiště golf resort. In December 2021, she finished sixth at the Ladies European Tour qualifying school in the Spanish resort of La Manga.

She thus achieved the best Czech ranking when she surpassed Klára Spilková’s 9th place and as the only Czech woman secured a full playing card on the Ladies European Tour, the highest professional European competition.

By 2022, she started in professional tournaments with the status of an amateur player, i.e. she could not accept prize money. She announced her transition to the pros in May 2022, when she planned to graduate from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in art.
