Transfer news LIVE! Pedro Neto to Arsenal latest; Chelsea FC Aubameyang talks; Pulisic to Man United, Antony bid

Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham remain heavily active in the transfer market as the clock ticks closer to the summer window deadline. Indeed, it’s busy at Stamford Bridge in particular with Wesley Fofana having told Leicester he is keen on a move to Thomas Tuchel’s side, who reportedly hold a fresh hope when it comes to signing Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona. Cesare Casadei is flying to London for a Chelsea medical today and there are new talks planned with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

One man who could leave west London is Christian Pulisic. The American forward has now emerged as a shock target for Manchester United, who have made contact ahead of a potential surprise late summer swoop as they also launch a “massive” bid for Antony and chase Joao Felix, Matheus Cunha, Sergino Dest, Casemiro, Moises Caicedo, Thomas Meunier and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, among others.

In north London, Arsenal are said to be casting keen eyes over Pedro Neto’s situation at Wolves as they also target Yeremy Pino, while Tottenham are set to bid farewell to Tanguy Ndombele as they eye youngster Ashley Phillips. Emerson Palmieri’s move from Chelsea to West Ham is now off, while Naby Keita is said to be unhappy at Liverpool. Follow the latest news, gossip and rumours in our LIVE transfer blog below!

Chelsea plot fresh Aubameyang talks

It looks like we can rule out a move to Manchester United for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

That was yet another Red Devils rumour doing the rounds earlier, but Fabrizio Romano now claims that actually such a possibility was ruled out days ago.

While there have been no negotiations with United, he adds that Chelsea will hold fresh talks with Aubameyang’s camp on Thursday over personal terms.

However, Xavi wants to keep the ex-Arsenal captain at Barcelona, where he only arrived on a free transfer back in February.

Chelsea battle Arsenal for Yeremy Pino

Chelsea look to have long since joined Arsenal in the race for Yeremy Pino.

Villarreal’s teenage star is known to be keenly coveted by Mikel Arteta, who is eager to bring a new winger to the Emirates before next month’s transfer deadline.

However, transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has now revealed that London rivals Chelsea have also been tracking the Spain international “for a long time”.

He adds that Liverpool have also scouted Pino on many occasions over the last year.

Atletico troll Man United over failed Joao Felix bid

Atletico Madrid appear to be poking a little fun at Manchester United on social media tonight.

Earlier, it was reported by AS that the Red Devils’ huge €130m bid for Joao Felix had been firmly rebuffed.

The LaLiga giants have now responded publicly by tweeting a picture of the Portuguese forward in training along with the simple one-word caption: ‘Priceless’.

Man United to make ‘massive’ Antony bid

So it seems like we may have spoken way too soon on the Antony to Manchester United front!

Sky Sports are now reporting that the interest is very much still alive, with a “massive” offer set to be tabled to Ajax at some point this week.

Antony was being valued at around €80m earlier in the summer, so you can bet that potential fee will have rocketed up with United coming back in for him so late in the window.

Man United dealt blow after Antony U-turn

Manchester United look to have been dealt another transfer blow in their pursuit of Antony.

Earlier this summer, it was reported that the Brazilian winger was eager to move to Old Trafford and reunite with former Ajax boss Erik ten Hag.

However, De Telegraaf now claim that he is no longer an option for United and would not consider a switch to Manchester at this stage anyway.

It never rains but it pours, eh?

Brereton Diaz and Phillips in Blackburn team amid exit links

In-form Blackburn Rovers are clearly attempting to tune out the latest transfer speculation surrounding Ben Brereton Diaz and Ash Phillips.

Bournemouth, Leeds, Everton and West Ham have all been linked with the Stoke-born Chile forward, who has been one of the Championship’s top marksmen over recent years and surprisingly burst onto the international scene in South America.

French club Nice made an £8.5m bid for Brereton Diaz earlier this week, which Blackburn have yet to accept or reject.

It is worth noting that the 23-year-old is starting for Jon Dahl Tomasson’s high-flying Rovers side tonight in their away fixture at Reading, where Tottenham’s football director Fabio Paratici is also believed to be in attendance as Spurs try to sign talented young defender Phillips, who also starts.

‘Unhappy’ Keita could leave Liverpool

Could Liverpool lose the services of Naby Keita before the transfer deadline?

The Guinea midfielder is a key part of Jurgen Klopp’s first-team squad at Anfield, but his current contract is due to expire next summer.

There had been talks over an extension, but Sky Sport in Germany now say those negotiations have stopped.

Florian Plettenberg adds that Keita is unhappy with his contract situation and could leave Liverpool, despite the current injuries to the likes of midfield colleagues Thiago Alcantara and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Certainly one to watch.

Man United contact Milinkovic-Savic agent

Or could it be Sergej Milinkovic-Savic who ends up at Old Trafford as Manchester United’s marquee new midfielder instead?

French outlet Foot Mercato claim that United contacted the agents of Lazio’s Serbian star on Wednesday as they desperately try to make something stick from this incredibly risky, scattergun approach late in the window.

Links between Milinkovic-Savic and Manchester have been ongoing now for what feels like an eternity, but is this finally the window that something happens?

Arsenal and Chelsea have also been linked over recent weeks, as well as Tottenham.

Man United expected to make Caicedo move

It’s truly impossible to keep up with all the transfer rumours swirling around concerning panicked Manchester United just at the moment.

Erik ten Hag seemingly wants to strengthen throughout the team after a dismal start to the new Premier League season in which they were humbled at home by Brighton before being humiliated at Brentford.

United are on the hunt for new midfielders with Adrien Rabiot’s switch now off and the Frenkie de Jong deal looking unlikely, with Sky Sports reporting that they are expected to make an offer for Moises Caicedo.

That is despite Brighton not wanting to sell the Ecuador international, whom United extensively scouted and tried to sign before he moved to the Amex Stadium for just £4.5m last January.

Liverpool are also being linked with Caicedo now, while Arsenal, Newcastle, Bayer Leverkusen, Atletico Madrid and Juventus have similarly been keeping tabs.

Man United fail with €130m Joao Felix bid

Manchester United have reportedly failed with a big-money bid for Joao Felix.

The crisis-stricken Red Devils appear on a desperate dash for high-profile deals before the transfer window slams shut, with scores of players being linked with Old Trafford in recent days.

The latest of those is Portuguese forward Felix, with a huge offer worth €130m (£109m) believed to have been made to Atletico Madrid earlier today.

Now according to Spanish outlet AS, that bid has been firmly knocked back by the LaLiga outfit, with Felix’s release clause set at a mammoth €350m.
