Federer’s challenger DJ Kygo goes “next level” at Untold before Roger’s birthday

Despite that world famous DJ Kygo stated in 2020 that he “is coming for” Roger Federer after showing his tennis skills on social media, the Swiss Maestro hasn’t yet answered Kygo’s ambitious desire, but the pandemic, Roger’s injuries, and his wish to spend time with family are solid reasons why Roger would put Kygo on the back burner.

In the past, the Norwegian DJ hit with American youngster Taylor Harry Fritz and, afterwards, he asked for a rematch on social media. Either way, Kygo is minding his own business as well, doing what he does best – producing music.

One of Kygo’s last appearances was at Untold Festival, a Romanian music festival held at Cluj-Napoca ranked in the top 5 in the world, where he put up a truly impressive show just one day before Roger Federer’s birthday (8th of August).

Kygo himself described the show he was able to put together: “That was next level Untold Festival!”

After singing hits like “Higher Love”, “What’s Love Got To Do With It”, and “Firestone”, Kygo went on and thanked the tens of thousands of participants.

“You were an extraordinary public. I love you so much!”
