Arsenal have enjoyed an extremely hectic summer so far as they prepare for another assault on the Champions League places.

A number of new faces have already arrived at the Emirates Stadium this summer and the business is not expected to end there. Away from transfers, it has also been a hugely intriguing summer from a Gunners’ perspective with the pre-season schedule now in full swing ahead of the Premier League campaign kicking off.

Arsenal handed Tielemans loan opportunity

One name linked with a switch to the Emirates Stadium consistently is Leicester City playmaker Youri Tielemans. So far, the Gunners have not yet lodged an offer for the Belgian’s services.

That could potentially be set to change soon with the opportunity to complete an intriguing swap deal. Reports have suggested that Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel is closing in on a move to French side Nice.

Should he go, the Foxes potentially see Fulham-linked Bernd Leno as a possible successor. Whether a swap deal could be on the cards remains to be seen but it will likely be an opportunity that Arsenal want to explore.

Salah bet made with Jesus

One man who has already arrived at the Emirates Stadium this summer is Gabriel Jesus and he has enjoyed a hot start to life with the club.

His former Palmeiras teammate Prass has suggested that he could go on to match the goalscoring exploits of Mohamed Salah and Harry Kane whilst in north London. Speaking exclusively to Mirror Sport, the Brazilian goalkeeper said: “Surely by the path he has travelled, yes he can.

“Particularly I bet on that, that he will become one of the main strikers in the Premier League. This is the natural path for Gabriel.”

Guendouzi involved in Betis fight

One man that Arsenal might be happy to see the back of is Matteo Guendouzi after he sealed a permanent exit from the club. The Frenchman has already displayed why the Gunners were possibly happy to let him go in a recent pre-season friendly.

With his current side squaring off with Real Betis in Chesterfield, the midfielder was involved in a late scuffle with Betis icon Joaquin – the Spaniard taking exception to a few heavy challenges from the former Arsenal man throughout the game.
