Equalized and surpassed the one who previously held this special record, Ivo Karlovic, who was stopped at 13728. The recording of this data began in 1991 through the use of the ATP Match Stats, part of the Infosys ATP Scores & Stats Center.
Isner needed only two games of service to overcome this threshold on the number 2 field of Wimbledon, pulling the ace of the record to 1-1, 15/30 during the match against Jannik Sinner: “It’s really cool. It’s something I’m very proud of, ”Isner said before the game, looking forward to achieving this incredible goal.
“He I will be the leader of all time. I’ll keep playing, I’ll keep increasing my total. I don’t know if the record will be broken. I could stay up there for a long time. ”

In addition to the record set today, the American also leads the 2022 ace standings with (629 + X) in 28 games. The 37-year-old has ranked # 1 on the ATP Tour for aces in seven seasons and has crossed the 1000 aces mark seven times, including a career high of 1260 from 2015.
Isner first accomplished both feats in 2010, after turning pro in 2007 following a prominent career at the University of Georgia. Thanks to his powerful serve, Isner won 92% of his serving games, including 79% of first serve points.
He also saved 71% of the break points. With an intimidating game built around this exceptional strength, Isner has won 16 titles in his career to date and reached his career high at number 8 on the Pepperstone ATP rankings in 2018.
