We’re still a few weeks away from the Stanley Cup being handed out, however the NHL is about to give out a number of trophies starting this week.

Wednesday marks the beginning of awards season in the NHL as the league will be announcing the winners of their honors for the 2021-22 season.

Seven winners will be named, one a day, starting June 1 with the conference finals underway, leading up to the big, one-hour special that will happen on June 21 with the five major award winners announced.

The finalists for most of the awards have already been named. While some awards like the Vezina Trophy seem pretty clear as to who will be given the hardware, there are others like the Hart Trophy that are going to be a hot topic leading up the unveiling.
