‘What a baller’ Chelsea fans single out one player in first half against Leeds United

Chelsea have put themselves in pole position for a third-placed finish once again thanks to a first-half against Leeds that sees them head into the break 1-0 up.

Mason Mount opened the scoring for the Blues after just three minutes, but the main action of the opening 45 minutes was a red card for Dan James, Leeds’ second in as many games, has reduced Jesse Marsch’s side to 10 men with plenty of football still to be played, while it also rules the Welshman out of the remainder of the season.

And, despite the controversy in what was a generally low-quality first half, Chelsea fans reserved special praise for one particular man.

Mount the golden boy again

The player in question was Mason Mount, with the Cobham graduate grabbing the only goal of the game so far, and looking lively whenever he got the ball. And, in bringing up his 20th goal contribution of the season, he set Chelsea fans drooling once more.
