The Journalists Attacking Captain Smart Are Jealous Of Him Because He Was The Only One Bold Enough To Criticize NPP Government – Nana Ama Fumes

0

Accra FM presenter Nana Ama has come to the defence of Captain Smart, addressing recent criticisms aimed at the outspoken journalist.

According to Nana Ama, those attacking Captain Smart are driven by jealousy because he was the only journalist bold enough to openly criticise the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government at a time when many others remained silent.

Speaking passionately during her show, Nana Ama expressed her disappointment in her fellow media practitioners, particularly singling out Vim Lady, who she accused of engaging in similar behaviour during her tenure at the Adom FM.

“Vim Lady, who is now taking shots at Captain Smart, also made waves for her bold comments in the past. Why is she now turning against him for doing the same?” Nana Ama questioned.

She also lambasted Odi Ahenkan of Okay FM, and other journalists who have criticised Captain Smart for his controversial remarks made in 2023. In her view, these journalists are hypocritical, as they refuse to hold the government accountable yet are quick to attack those who dare to speak up.

“Captain Smart has shown bravery by saying what many journalists are too afraid to say. Instead of supporting his courage, some of his colleagues are trying to tear him down. This isn’t journalism; this is jealousy,” she stated.
