Nigerian singer Seyi Shay has finally opened up on her long-standing rift with her colleague, Tiwa Savage.<\/p>\n
In a recent interview with an OffAir show, she recalled that she had no idea why her friendship with Tiwa suddenly ended until years later, when she reconnected with her former staff member.<\/p>\n
She alleged that her former personal assistant revealed that she had an affair with Tiwa\u2019s ex-husband, Tee Billz. She said she believed her because she doesn\u2019t see why her ex-P. A would make such an expensive home.<\/p>\n
An emotional Seyi, who was in tears during the interview, said she now understands why Tiwa was mad at her, as she would do the same if she were in her shoes.<\/p>\n
\u201cI honestly didn\u2019t know why Tiwa and I stopped talking to each other,\u201d she said. \u201cA young lady I hired as a PA back when Didi was still managing me\u2026 after the whole salon experience, I moved to London to have my daughter. I saw this girl at the club, someone I had not seen in about seven years. She hit me up on Instagram, we met for lunch, and she said, \u2018I saw what happened and I\u2019m really sorry. It is very detrimental to your career, and I feel like I\u2019m the cause of it.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
To cut the long story short, it turns out the girl was having a relationship with my girl\u2019s husband, and I didn\u2019t even know,\u201d Seyi Shay explained. \u201cShe told me all of that. It must have been true; I don\u2019t think she would say all of that as a joke.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen she told me this, I was disgusted because we were rolling together and doing things together, meanwhile, Tiwa probably thought I knew about it. You can just imagine the anger. It\u2019s so p+inful. If that was me, I would have done worse\u201d.<\/p>\n
