Attempts by the hotel manager to defuse the situation failed.<\/p>\n<p>The source further revealed, \u201cHe fled the premises but returned shortly after with a group of miscreants believed to be his associates, intent on forcibly retrieving the money.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>READ MORE:https:\/\/www.informationng.com\/2025\/06\/ondo-govt-under-scrutiny-as-petitions-demand-probe-into-akeredolus-death.html<\/p>\n<p>The arrival of the suspect and his group intensified the conflict, prompting the brothel manager to call the police.<\/p>\n<p>A patrol team quickly responded, arresting the suspect and his accomplices while trying to recover the money by force.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the victim\u2019s health worsened, and she was rushed to a nearby hospital in Lafe before being referred to the police hospital in Akure. Unfortunately, she was declared dead on arrival.<\/p>\n<p>State police spokesperson Ayanlade Olayinka confirmed the arrests on Monday, saying, \u201cEfforts are ongoing to apprehend two others who remain at large.
