It is a sad time for friends, fans, colleagues and lovers of fast-rising actress, Gbemi Anjola as she is laid to rest.<\/p>\n
Nollywood actress, Ariyo Oluwakemisola Apesin popularly known as Kemity has shared videos from the funeral.<\/p>\n
In the videos captured online, everyone present at the funeral wore a solemn look as they bade the movie star goodnight.<\/p>\n
Kemi Filani reported that the Gbemi Anjola died on Friday, the 24th of March, 2023, after a prolong battle with ovarian cancer.<\/p>\n
Gbemi was diagnosed with the ailment in 2021. As a result of this, she traveled to Dubai, UAE for chemotherapy which lasted about 6 months.<\/p>\n
After her medical treatment in Dubai, she came back to Nigeria cancer-free. On Friday, the 25th of March, 2023, the actress complained of memory loss and headache.<\/p>\n
She was rushed to the hospital, but, unfortunately, Gbemi was pronounced dead.<\/p>\n
The tragic news was shared by the late actor\u2019s colleagues, Itele and Zainab Balogun who mourned her on their Instagram pages.<\/p>\n
Many others had also take to their respective pages to paid her goodnight.<\/p>\n
