Nigerian politician Ned Nwoko has resumed posting videos of his priceless moments with his family, but this time, in Asaba.
The politician, via his Instagram and Twitter pages, had shared a heartwarming video of the moment he, his wife, Laila Charani, and their kids, including Regina Daniels’ son, arrived in Asaba, Delta State.

In the clip, the Delta State politician could be seen all smiles with his now-favourite wife on their private jet, as their nannies looked after the kids.

“We arrived in Delta this afternoon. Being back always feels grounding. As always, the days ahead will be spent meeting with my constituents, listening and engaging. Mount Ned remains what it has always been: an open home and a place of welcome. Our Asaba liaison office, which has remained fully functional and open every working day of the week, will also serve as a point of engagement.
I look forward to the interactions, the ideas, and the honest exchanges that define our politics. I’m deeply thankful for the warmth, the loyalty, and the steady love from my people. It never fades, and I never take it for granted”.

Earlier this month, he shared a video of him taking Laila and their kids, including Regina’s sons, on an outing after a long day. The politician described family time as where everything slows down. He noted that there is no pressure or expectations, and it’s just shared laughs, easy conversations, and the comfort of being together
In a previous video, Nwoko had treated Laila and their children to a special outing after a long day of sports. According to him, the kids always look forward to their outings as it was a little reward for showing up and giving their best on the court. Nwoko said that watching them unwind, laugh, and find balance was a reminder that all work and no play dulls the edge.
On his birthday, the politician was left overwhelmed as Laila and the kids serenaded him on his birthday. He said that birthdays may he ordinary days to him, but moments like these, filled with family and life, make them truly special.
Recall that in October, Regina ended things with him citing domestic violence as her reasons for leaving her marriage.
Ned, in a public statement, had attributed the tension to what he described as her “battle with drugs and alcohol abuse.” According to Nwoko, his efforts to help his wife seek professional treatment are always resisted.
In an Instagram post, Regina called out Ned for constantly publicising her children to garner negative attention from their father. She pointed out the irony that someone of his status could be posting his kids at this time, knowing fully well it would attract media scrutiny.
Responding to her, Nwoko described her account as misleading and inconsistent with their family’s past practices. He said that sharing photos and videos of the children had always been a normal part of family life. According to him, Regina Daniels had also posted the children publicly for years without raising privacy concerns. Nwoko stated that her absence from the children’s lives was a personal choice, not something imposed on her.
