He made this comment in response to rumours that the nation wants to rename itself from India to Bharat.
Shehu Sani warned country’s residents not to alter the nation’s name in a post that he uploaded on his Facebook.
The leader of the People’s Democratic Party gave his justification, saying that India is already a well-known worldwide brand and is easier to pronounce.
